The Kemper Foundation’s mission is to serve, support and strengthen our communities to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. Through a collaborative approach with nonprofit community partners, we strive to give all people the power to achieve their aspirations in three areas of focus: education, health and community development.
Education
We provide access to education to inspire and empower people of all ages to achieve their full potential. We focus on providing financial support to the next generation of business leaders through our Kemper Scholars Program. We also offer programs that endorse the distinct educational, social, and financial benefits of bilingualism in Latino families.
Health
We support nonprofits that can make an impact on the nation’s most widespread diseases, including those organizations that are finding ways to accelerate research, address patient and caregiver needs, and advance medical and disease education.

The Kemper Foundation Grants
We support Kemper employees’ efforts to give back to their local communities and the causes they are passionate about.
The Kemper Foundation provides matching grants to nonprofit organizations where Kemper Corporation employees donate their time and money. Kemper employees who contribute to eligible organizations in the areas of education, health and community development receive a 1:1 match up to $500 annually. Please note that The Kemper Foundation does not accept any unsolicited grant applications.
